First thing to note: Cathodia is not my creation! 
made the idea [ [link] ], and when I saw his image of the ship, I couldn't help but imagine how the idle animation would be! anyway, this is what I whipped up using photoshop. I imagine that the blue and green wings will rotate in unison while the red one is firing, maybe. Then again, this would take forever to completely make, so I'm guessing Malamite wouldn't wanna devote time to something like this anyway. XP

I wouldn't imagine Cathodia having an idle animation. I'd actually figure it'd be stationary in all its parts. The ship may tilt when moving left or right, like a number of other shmup aircraft normally would (still trying to understand the tilting physics of Vic Viper and the R-Types), but not too much else. Sunshine/Starmine wouldn't tilt during movement so that their attack range is constant.
Speaking of which, I'm looking into the ship "Red-Wave" again, thinking of possibilities... X3
